Emma hails from Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she completed her BSc. in Microbiology at the University of Manitoba. While working as a project manager for an adolescent health initiative, Emma’s passion for health promotions was ignited and led her to pursue a career in public health. In 2016, she traded the snow for the rain and began a Master’s degree with the School of Population and Public Health at the University of British Columbia. Although still unsuccessful in remembering to bring an umbrella most days, Emma is excited to be in Vancouver and working as a graduate research assistant with the Men’s Health Research Team.
