Dr. Gayl Sarbit is a Knowledge Broker at the Institute for Healthy Living and Chronic Disease Prevention at the University of British Columbia in Kelowna. She is an experienced educator with an MEd and PhD in educational leadership. Her current research activities focus on health promotion for Indigenous men (smoking cessation, healthy eating, active living), and decision making for family caregivers. Gayl brings a passion for innovative ideas and creative expression in translating research findings into practical applications.
