Andrea Shim (She/her) recently joined the UBC Men’s Health Research program in April 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toronto, and a certificate in Biomedical Visualization and Communication from the University of British Columbia. As a registered nurse, she realized the benefits of visual communication within health and medicine, and how it can help simplify complicated concepts. Andrea has developed illustrations and animations for her clients’ program needs. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys outdoor rock climbing, snowboarding, and camping.
