Felipe Medina

Chemical Engineer from the National University of Colombia (UNAL), Master in International Health from the University of Heidelberg in Germany (UniH) and photographer from the School of Cinema and Photography Zone Five in Colombia (ZonaCinco). He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Bioethics at the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences in Argentina (FLACSO) and a Doctorate in Global Health at UniH, in collaboration with the University of British Columbia in Canada (UBC). He has experience in institutes for health technology monitoring and assessment, pharmaceutical industries, importers and manufacturers of health technologies, healthcare facilities and research centers. From 2011 to 2018 as an international consultant at the Pan American Health Organization in Washington on projects on: ICT for health, knowledge management and data analysis for decision making. Coordinator of the platform of graduates of the Institute of Global Health of UniH. He has participated as a lecturer and researcher in global health in universities in Peru, Mexico, Argentina and in Colombia.
