Communications & Design Coordinator
Rayka Kumru (she/they) is a knowledge translation and communications professional born and raised Istanbul. She is grateful to be living on the traditional, ancestral and unceeded lands of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh, and sel̓íl̓witulh Nations as an uninvited guest since 2018. Rayka holds a B.A in Sociology and Critical Studies in Sexuality from UBC, Master’s Degrees in Sexology from Curtin University, Australia and Marketing Communications from Istanbul Bilgi University. Rayka has experience as a comprehensive sexuality educator and consultant. Outside of work, Rayka produces content as an evidence-based influencer pushing for better access to comprehensive, inclusive, sex-positive, and culturally respectful content and resources.
