Rob Velzeboer is a PhD candidate in UBC’s Interdisciplinary program, focusing on Public Health and Marketing. He holds a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from UBC and an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy from the London School of Economics. Rob has also published clinical work on the effects of cannabis on sleep. His research interest is in male meat consumption, particularly psychological, moral, and cultural biases towards meat, and men’s attitudes towards emerging technologies to create plant-based and cultivated meats.
