Trevor Goodyear

Trevor Goodyear (he/him) is a registered nurse, PhD candidate with the University of British Columbia School of Nursing, and trainee with the Reducing Male Suicide Cluster. Trevors research is in youth mental health and substance use, with a focus on work with youth experiencing intersecting structural inequities. His dissertation research, Out on the Street,” is a community-based photovoice study with homeless 2S/LGBTQ+ youth who use drugs. Of relevance to the RMS Cluster, Trevor also recently led research into young cisgender, heterosexual and queer and trans mens use of alcohol and other substances with sex.
