The study objective is to advance the gendered dimensions of men’s post-prostatectomy experiences using narrative methodologies by integrating men’s narratives and storytelling methods to identify and describe post-prostatectomy experiences related to mental health, intimate partner relationships, peer support, and using healthcare services. These insights have the potential to contribute to the development of targeted, gender-responsive interventions to support the emotional and relational well-being of men and their intimate partners post-prostatectomy.
