Nina Gao (She/her) is the research manager at UBC Men’s Health Research Program. Nina completed her B.A in Sociology from Sun Yat-sen University in China and moved to Canada in 2013. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Saskatchewan. Nina has research experience in health professions education and older adult care, and is passionate about qualitative health research and using evidence-based knowledge to inform better health care. She is currently contributing to a few research projects, including men’s intimate partner relationships and commercial determinants of men’s health.
